DESCRIPTION:‘House of Revision / House of Repair’ is a project about love, restraint, liberty, pain, growth and collapse. Working across drawing, fiction, animation, code, and sculpture the artist makes works that reimagine God’s House Tower’s past as Bridewell, and extend this into futures. The project asks what a place of spiritual and physical repair for the alterity might be, if freed from the authority of state and church that underpinned such ‘Houses of Correction’ and the subsequent systems they have evolved into since?
