Introducing Emma Moules to the GHT Shop

At GHT, we champion our local creative community and we are delighted to welcome Southampton born and bred illustrator Emma Moules to the GHT Shop. Get to know Emma with this little introduction she wrote for us.

I’m an illustrator who lives in Southampton, where I work on my card designs for my small business called Drawn By Emma Designs.

I am inspired by nature, as can be seen from my work, but I love a good bad dad joke too, and I try to incorporate that into my designs. I am hoping to expand my range of designs and look into other design styles to help reach all corners of the customer’s needs.

In all my work, I try to be as environmentally friendly as possible. I no longer use plastic cellophane bags; instead I use ones that are made from cornstarch, so they naturally biodegrade, or I don’t use them at all and post them ‘naked’. The materials used for printing my cards come from sustainably sourced forests and I reuse materials wherever possible.

I feel so lucky to be one of GHT’s local artists and I can’t wait for what the future holds.
