Part of a series of late night events at God’s House Tower, GHT Lates is an opportunity to explore the building by night while enjoying live performances from some of the South’s best musicians.

Join us for a specially produced night of music, poetry and storytelling at this special edition of GHT Lates hosted by The Postmen and Guests.

As we hurtle towards April Fool’s Day, join us for a God’s House Tower Late special of hand-picked entertainment by local ace beat combo, The Postmen. Expect well known classics such as One Way Town, Justified, & the two hits from their new single Bestiary – Elephant Rock & Metal Fly. Chant along to their chanson de travail & two step to their unique brand of Brutalist Architecture Urban Folk.

And all the way from Edinburgh, we’ll be joined by Johnny & The Elevated States. Highly reverberated rustic rawk ‘n’ roll. Whoop & holler to the slap of the double bass, jump & jig to the skiffle of the thumping drums & augmented geetars. Cowpunk & smilesman aplenty…

The Postmen are also pleased to introduce Mirada. Rising like a phoenix from the Silicon Fen youth scene, Mirada are a funky five-piece, with everything going for them. Co-incident with the release of their first track on Spotify, they will be showcasing an eclectic range of pop and rock influences, sure to get your toes tappin’ and your hands clappin’

There’ll be some poetry too – lines to make you weep & laugh in equal measure.

It’ll a be an evening of foolishness you’ll never forget…

Don’t forget that when you’re not listening to the bands you have exclusive access to explore God’s House Tower after hours, including our permanent exhibition The Stories Behind the Stones as well as our newest exhibition International Women’s Day Community Projects in the galleries.

Tickets cost £7 in advance (or £8.50 on the night!)
