Part of a series of late night events at God’s House Tower, GHT Lates is an opportunity to explore the building by night while enjoying live performances from some of the South’s best musicians.

GHT Lates features:

Ronk Torp: Ronk Torp is the ambient folk solo project of Matt Williams with subtle melodic tones and sonic sounds. Matt is a guitarist, singer/songwriter with searing guitar work, colourful song lyrics and soft vocals.

Having played the guitar since he was 15, Matt has perfected his singing technique whilst riding around the South Downs Way, travelling in London and building a studio in his house in Southampton. He loves sonic sounds, all kinds of gentle, melancholic vocal techniques and has been compared to the likes of Nick Drake and Pink Floyd.

Emerald Falls: “Emerald Falls are a 5 piece country rock band from the south coast. With their 5 track EP and 3 singles available on all streaming platforms and can be purchased on iTunes and Amazon Music. Throughout 2023 they have been touring Hampshire and Surrey playing at festivals and featured on radio stations including BBC Radio Solent and CountryLine Radio. They have been compared to Bryan Adams and Luke Combs with their bouncy, riffy upbeat tracks that you can’t help but dance to. As their fans have said “you can’t help but turning Emerald Falls up in the car whilst on your way to the beach!””.

Pluto the Rich: Based out of Southampton, Pluto the Rich are a 4-piece band formed in 2022 and have quickly been daisy chaining gigs throughout the Southampton area. All members bring very different influences for a loud melting pot, delivering hard-hitting punk and alt-rock, whilst also drawing from the word play of old school Brooklyn Hip-Hop. PTR brings a truckload of energy and chaos to all songs and live performances.
