Join us for this exciting new course led by WEA as we explore how to read landscape paintings.

In this one day course, we will discuss the formal elements, the subject matter and function of one of the major themes in Western art through the analysis of selected artworks: among them will be 17th century Dutch landscapes; works by Constable and Turner; Impressionist masterpieces and contemporary approaches to the genre.
