November’s theme is comedy dramas by the likes of Wes Anderson and Hal Ashby!

You’ll find out what film you’ll be watching when you arrive and we’ll be asking viewers to rate the film as well as to contribute to a blind vote for next months viewing. We often try to show at least 2 films in 2 different parts of the building, so be sure to vote for what you want to see.

What to expect on the night

The doors to GHT will open from 6.30pm and the bar will be open for you to buy drinks and snacks. The galleries will be open for you to explore the exhibition Fetissoes by Kialy Tihngang if you’d like to and the screening will begin around 7.30pm depending on the lengths of the films selected. After the screening there will be some time for you to review, chat and leave your suggestions for next months screening!

After you book your place, you’ll receive an email a couple of days before the event with more exact timings and more info.

What to bring

Seating will be informal with only a few chairs available, so we’d recommend bringing a cushion if you’re taking to the floor.

This event is totally free to attend and we’ll be operating a ‘pay what you feel’ system at the end of the night. If you have a good night and can spare a few pounds we’d really appreciate it. You can also support by buying drinks and snacks at the bar! All funds raised will help us keep these events free and will help to build a community around these events of people who love good indie film.
