We are delighted to announce that GHT has been nominated for not one but TWO awards in the RICS Social Impact Awards.
This is the inaugural year of this competition, which aims to recognise the built environment’s positive and transformational contribution to society.
Director of GHT Daniel Crow said: “This is fantastic news! We know that bringing GHT back to life will have an incredible impact on the cultural life of Southampton, reanimating the Old Town and making all those who enjoy art and heritage proud of the city. Congratulations and thanks to architect Dan Talkes from Purcell and Peter Grosvenor from Greenwood Projects who was the surveyor on the project. They did a brilliant job and were instrumental in working with ‘a space’ arts to open up this fabulous ancient monument to the public, ready for the next phase in its 700 year history.”
