Join us for March’s GHT Lates!

Part of a series of late-night events at God’s House Tower, GHT Lates is an opportunity to explore the building by night while enjoying live performances from some of the South’s best musicians.

Musicians Performing

Sea RanchSea Ranch are an indie-folk duo from just over the river in Woolston, Southampton. Alison (vocals, rhythm guitar, songwriter) and Rich (lead guitar) began playing music together on their old front porch in California. Now they bring together their transatlantic influences spanning the folk rock of Laurel Canyon, the Americana songwriting of Nashville, and the indie twang of the Medway estuary. Expect original songs, covers of the next Americana artists you should have heard of, and few reimagined crowd favourites.

Nory-J – Nory-J is the indie/ dream pop pseudonym of British musician Jack Spooner. Gaining 10,000 monthly listeners for his recent 2024 records,  his artistry has found itself with BBC Introducing, international reviewers and throughout Co-Op stores across the UK with Hit Radio’s own Hattie Pearson crowning Spooner as her ‘Off The Shelf’ artist for the store. Nory attracted Radar 45 playlisting from BBC Radio 1 Presenter Jodie Bryant who praised him as “cool and vibey” in early 2024. The Nory discography has been catching the eye of other BBC Radio 1 presenters like Elliot Darby and Seb Bailey, who claim Nory-J is “one to watch out for”.

James Humphrys – James is a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Bristol. Taking influences from bands like Foals, Parcels, Bombay Bicycle Club, and Jungle, James’s music is a unique concoction of upbeat funk-filled dream pop with often surprisingly melancholic lyrics.
