An independent summer market in the heart of the Old Town Southampton!

Shop for unique handcrafted gifts and original artwork while supporting local artists. The market brings together artists selling ceramics, prints, homeware and original artwork. It is focused on small-scale, handcrafted work, with everything available directly from the people who made it.


  • Entry is free, and no booking is needed.

  • Suitable for all ages.


Wander through the Crawford Room for the Facing the Planet exhibition by Tessa Coe and Jane Coyle (only on display for the first weekend in August, free entry). An exhibition of paintings and poems; reflections of place, discovery and recollection.

Visitors can take a break in GHT’s café bar, which serves freshly brewed coffee, pastries, iced summer beverages and delicious LOAF toasties!
